'Whipcrackaway & Vexillum' in the 12:40 at Fontwell

As usual I played the drift well (by flukes I think) but skipped the steam on Vexillum.

What happened here? A mistake? I just missed it but a lot of money was sitting at 4.5 whilst all the bookies had it at 10+

Anyone know why this one went out to 150 in first 5 seconds of the race "Bolt from the Blue"
Seemed like someone desperate to get out but i dont have pictures so i dont know if it kicked up at the start.

One runner (I assume it was the same one but can't remember the name) almost refused to race and gave them '100 lengths' according to the commentator (which I think was exaggerated a bit. Anyway the horse pulled hard and caught up pretty quickly with the rest of them

I just backed 100 at the off by putting a couple of positions in and he tried smashing me and then got out at 6s from 11.5. Happy days! Even though it won.

I know, but im not greedy. Was happy with the over reaction that seems to be happening on a lot of the outsiders at the moment.

'Excellent Jem' in the 2:45 at Lingfield.

Today's markets have driven me over the edge. 7 losing trades in a row and all big loses playing the swings. I din't do anything silly or stupid like overstake or chase loses. I simply cut out when positions failed (4-5 ticks) and re-entered when I thought I had a chance positions. My methods are simple too - basic Technical Analysis (Support, Resistance and SMA), nothing else.

Sometimes a Handicap that I assume to be stable with go wild, while at times a Mdn Stks will flatline.

Times like these make me question if I'm just throwing blind darts at a completely random game that I have no idea about.

We have a few people in the office today and I traded that race.

The favourite was coming in so I had to make a judgement on whether to follow that or go for a drift on the second favourite. The 2nd didn't move for ages and pressure built up behind the drift for some time as the favourtie continued to keep coming in. There was a big order went through, so I sat on the second hoping for the drift and hey presto it appeared.
