Betfair didn't want people constantly pulling down the latest markets, so they have never given us approval for this feature.

How do you mean? You mean adding too much liquidity early that they distract from the more upcoming stuff ?

Presumably system stress. If you could pull up markets automatically then it would be a race to the bottom and before you know it everyone would be refreshing every second trying to be the first to new markets.

It's a shame Betfair don't at least allow BA users to automatically populate on a fixed max refresh cycle. Once an hour or something.

I've been using this for a few months now and it has been a godsend. It means I can leave my greyhound and football strategies running and just forget about them until I update my 'trading laptop' once a month. Thank you Sibur for developing and sharing this, and also for the support you have provided.

Thank you. I am pleased it's been useful. I know an issue where old markets are not clearing properly and I do need to look at this. However the remove function where you use a SV to determine when to remove a market does work thankfully.
