i've used official ver. before, you get 500 MB all ya need for a .baf
+1 tho definitely don't torrent it lol u are speaking sense and right to call it out
technically you could torrent and safely load any .exe if you verify its cryptographic digital signature is valid and explicitly matches the official publisher's certificate, but not only will you have boarded the high seas of the digital ocean by joining team pirate, if that's your norm you'll likely end up getting karma'd pretty hard via an invalid signature or lookalike publisher name at some point. like it'd only take 1 malicious .exe with a stealer on it to farm all your pw's, bypass your betfair's 2FA with a pass the cookie attack, or some script kiddie might just be experimenting and encrypt your SSD for the shits and gigs if they wanted. plus a recovery tool is aimed at ppl without tech expertise so probably 1 of the highest risk things to torrent out there
morals aside a lot of people will have grown up torrenting underage when there's not much to lose e.g. cant steal someone's card info if they don't even own one to make purchases with in the first place, but the risk profile is completely different as an adult when you have access to heaps of resources and ultimately pretty hard to justify on a main device
