Although I don't know the bloke, and have no personal gripe, I find that a strange thing to believe..."unable to prove he could trade"...he has a TON of videos showing just that..he apparantley can trade...

Thanks Bet Angel, yeah I know there's no "millionaire" button :D , I'm quite a happy slow trader, little bits add up etc. I would like to see just small ideas of why and why not to get in a trade.
Look forward to any new vids you guys have!

Mind you, I think I'm one of those who can watch them over and over again and miss the signs

If you flip a coin it will end up heads quite often.

You could say the same about the BA videos...there's only a couple...." so an easy way to make a first trade, click here, tick offset, voila! a pound"....that can be just coin tossing for the learners like me? no? Those badger ones were the first I watched, and it's not as if there's only a couple....I don't believe they're coin flipping...it's quite obvious the guy knows what he's doing. It's funny to join a forum and see people slagging of another trader, not very professional is it really? I mean, I could expect to hear "I use a different method than x trader, it works better for me", instead of "X trader is a fake and charlatan"...unless there is solid proof that I should stay away from watching x trader...
I smell jealousy...

Anyway, I joined Bet Angel, not badger Angel....

Not jealously at all, you just need to know the guy doesn't have a good reputation.

Mr Green, we couldn't cross reference your email to our db. Are you based near are offices or further afield? We are planning some events at the office soon but they will only be morning events, so probably not of interest to people further afield. That may help you get off on the right foot.

Well if you are ever in the UK you are welcome to visit. Guess we need to sharpen up the video content before then.

We are based just outside SW London, about 1/2 hour from Betfair.

hello mr green. i was not slagging said person off. i could not be bothered to be honest. i was advising you not to waste your time taking to much notice of someone with a dubious past (if you wish to see traders slagging each other off i would suggest you visit the two or so forums that the said person is associated with or the betfair forums).

as videos go there ok to get an idea of what is possible and general methods used etc, but i feel they can lead people and especially people new to this, to very unrealistic expectations. possibly why ba produce the videos they do (my opinion obviously i don’t know) – not designed to making people think either deliberately or subconsciously “this is easy, turn on the tenner printing machine and ching, ching”.

as i said originally a good place is to start with james1st post. if i remember rightly he as worked in the financial markets and offers some good insights. also look at other threads on the same subject.

the only way to learn is with a small bank and small stakes. don’t have any expectations, just take it slowly. the more markets you watch (and/or trade with small stakes), the more sense they will make. with time you will be able to see things other then the mess of changing numbers you possibly see now.

this trading thing is a head game, taking ticks is not to hard its controlling you, yourself that is the hardest part to crack/get right.

If you are a Bet Angel user we are going refresh all out videos to do a range of new videos designed to get you off on the right foot. We are looking to get feedback from people about exactly what they want to see. It's no good asking for 'which button do I presss to make a million ;) ?'
A little feedback about training videos......I have been playing with Bet Angel for a few years and for me it is about managing the losses. The main topic I would like to see some training videos about is "How to scratch my trade" in the football, racing and tennis markets. If I can get out of a failing trade or even a vulnerable position with minimal loss my odds of winning overall would drastically improve. I am speaking from experience where an unexpected goal followed by another in the African Nations Cup virtually cleaned out my bank which I thought I had been managing profitably over a number of months!!

Thanks for all the videos and information so far.
