I smell jealousy...
Anyway, I joined Bet Angel, not badger Angel....
hello mr green. i was not slagging said person off. i could not be bothered to be honest. i was advising you not to waste your time taking to much notice of someone with a dubious past (if you wish to see traders slagging each other off i would suggest you visit the two or so forums that the said person is associated with or the betfair forums).
as videos go there ok to get an idea of what is possible and general methods used etc, but i feel they can lead people and especially people new to this, to very unrealistic expectations. possibly why ba produce the videos they do (my opinion obviously i don’t know) – not designed to making people think either deliberately or subconsciously “this is easy, turn on the tenner printing machine and ching, ching”.
as i said originally a good place is to start with james1st post. if i remember rightly he as worked in the financial markets and offers some good insights. also look at other threads on the same subject.
the only way to learn is with a small bank and small stakes. don’t have any expectations, just take it slowly. the more markets you watch (and/or trade with small stakes), the more sense they will make. with time you will be able to see things other then the mess of changing numbers you possibly see now.
this trading thing is a head game, taking ticks is not to hard its controlling you, yourself that is the hardest part to crack/get right.
