Some people must have made (or lost) shitloads on Stefanki 4.45 Lingfield

Gets backed into 2.3, then drifts like a barge to 2.74, then steams in to 2.22 at the off

In play seemed to come in early followed by several large amounts on the back side of the favourite at gradually lowering intervals (all eventually matched). I know that this horse has previously refused to race but whoever did this has blown quite a lot of money! Must have it to lose it I suppose.

same as most of you guys... sitting out a bit more of the heavily manipulated markets but the huge moves in the 16.45 and the strong last minute drift on the favourite in the 17.05 have put me back to where I should be at this time in the day....

Does anyone have any data on how the cross matching has effected the markets,

i still think it's having a big effect somehow,
but maybe it's all in my head, who knows  might just be the general lack of money around at the moment and me attributing that to the xm instead.

We have a lot of data from before and after cross matching and can assure you it's not in your head. We are just trying to work out why before publishing the data. It's the scale of the change that has us foxed.

If you want a quick answer, the rate at which you order fills has changed.

Do you think they may have changed the algorithm slightly? the only reason I ask is because we have had since the 23 nov and the current symptoms (in running anyway) have only recently become apparent? (or have they?)
(I understand that they wouldn't be able to vary it much of course)
Also, are the cross matching figures that are displayed on BA calculated within BA ie it's not sent as a data packet from the Betfair API?
Thanks
regards
Peter

Lots of strange orders on fav in 19:10, wondered why - only went in play half way through the race!
