well done freddy. you put your money where your mouth is. to be commended.freddy wrote:Well i withdrew my Betfair Balance yesterday![]()
It may well have been a knee jerk reaction, especailly as im not yet at the 250k threshold.
but ill give it a go for a few weeks, i can always go back with my tail between my legs if needed.
I downloaded BetAngel BetDaq and tried it. BetAngelBetDaq needs development,no spread-sheet functionality for Guardian? Annoyed by the silly Betdaq price charts, can't read them. Money is obviously being seeded by BetDaq itself, they definitely couldn't handle a lot of traders rushing over there and snapping it up. A lot of problems that I can see.

They are the same but you have to log in to which ever you used during your sign up.
Anyone else having any success with Betdaq,
im quite likeing it now i have got used to it.
i am having to use betfair at times for emergency situations though it has to be said.
As previously mentioned it can be hard getting out of positions when things turn quickly against you at times.

This is my first post on this forum but have been trading Betfair for a while and recently switched to Betdaq. I'm nowhere near £250k it was just a personal thing. I do have to agree with Freddy here though. I didn't get my close out trade filled on a race that went in play but there was never a lay price to get out. I put in plenty of offers but lost my entire stake on that. I like trading Betdaq, you can fill the market gaps for an easy scalp and the rest of it is the same apart from when it goes wrong. They also have far fewer in play markets which is just plain irritating when you see a chance and it passes you by. I'd like to see them put some more effort into development and expanding then they might start seeing some of the punters coming over from Betfair as well as the traders.

freddy, are you trading the top of the market? mostly fav and 2nd?
Yes it can be a total nightmare, when there is a big move on the horse your trading and all the money available suddenly disappears .cloud88111 wrote:This is my first post on this forum but have been trading Betfair for a while and recently switched to Betdaq. Ive started using Betfair for a backup and then you can hopefully trade out of both positions later on.
About the same % wise on bank as betfair so far i would guess, just with a much smaller bank.jimrobo wrote:what sort of profit level are you making in terms of a percentage of your average betfair week freddy?
Don’t think I would want to go above my 1k bank at them moment either, seems too risky to me.
Im lucky that i can still use betfair for a 6 months or so yet and hopefully things will improve some more by then.
