I was looking at early trading volumes, looks like Betdaq takes about 40% - 50% of what Betfair takes so far.

Is this normal? I could imagine it would increase much further next month and maybe not be too far behind. Or am I off the mark?

They work it out differently on Betdaq,
so you carn't compaire like for like unfortunatly.

but i know 100,000 matched on Betdaq is much less than 100,000 matched on Betfair if you get me :? .

Any chance you (or anyone else could elaborate?)

On Betdaq the 14:50 Perth Win Market it says - Matched: £213,724

On Betfair the 14:50 Perth Win Market it says -
Total matched so far: £1,462,588

Your saying that isn't the same as Betfair matching?

Don't get obsessed by volume on Betdaq. Markets are still tradeable even if the volume is lower.

This reminds me of sci-fi films where man is forced to leave the earth and search for other hadbitable planets, checking out the resources available

£100 bet on betfair shows as £200 matched
£100 bet on betdaq depends on the odds 5/1 would show as £600 matched

Ive only been trying Betdaq for the last few weeks, but ive found it ok to trade.

Most of time it is just a tick or two behind betfair and a lot more gappier, though ive seen plenty of occassions where the ask price on betfair is available to back on betdaq.

not too bad at all! If you can make 100 pounds a day and a bit extra on saturdays you are at the same level as if you were making 2k a week on betfair with the new charge

Well done Freddy. I don't want to be negative but if we all went over there without the punters then it would be far harder
