Whats the difference between 10 traders using the same strategy with £100 stakes and one trader using a strategy with £1000 stakes?

still don't think some of you guys are understanding what I'm trying to say.

If (hypothetically) I have a winning system, I don't need to borrow money. I'm looking to invest my money into training up others. Teach them my system, in exchange for say 50% of their profits. So if I have 10 guys out there trading successfully using my money, and I'm getting 50% of their profits, it's a good situation.

It's a similar proposition to online poker yes. However I can't see how ten others trading with a similar strategy can affect the overall market unless you are betting thousands or more because its so huge. Obviously a lot of trading involves making a choice, so exit/entry points could vary and even the events themselves might be different so you're not "competing" with your team.

We are understanding what your saying, but This does not make any sense in the sports trading world, simply because you yourself will easily take the strategy to the maximum level possible, it's only a small pool and being a big fish happens quite quickly if you have an solid edge.

Having lots of people doing the same things as you and taking 50% of profits will not make you more money, it will infact make you less because that profit should have been all yours not just 50%.

Nothing but why would you teach 10 people to use the strategy for 50% of there profits when you could just use the 1000 yourself and keep the lot.

It would be interesting to know how many systems that worked five years ago still work today.

Any conceivable edge is likely to be discovered by a number of people, given the huge number of traders there are out there who study the markets. And, as you say, the effect of lots of people doing the same thing can be considerable.

If you find your own winning system then keep it to yourself or it will soon be gone, it make a huge difference if 10 or fifty people are doing the same things.

There are things that I used 5 years ago that dont work anymore.
I have discovered new ones along the way (and still am), but its like finding new antibiotics; you have to stay one step in front

The client will fund all trading with a limit to be agreed, so no financial risk is taken by the individual (albeit if no profit is generated, no bonus will be paid).

- they appear to be offering to let you trade with their funds (and will pay you £80-100k basic whether you're profitable or not !!)

I am not sure If I understoot what rex is asking about but, I can tell you that I am currently trading with someelse money on football....With horses I use my money...generally small stakes and unfortunaly I can not do it for many hours as I have a strict deal to concentrate only on football as if it's a job..
I get 10%-15% after the premium...I tought many times to go solo but, trust me, trading with someelse money and with a massive bank available is much easier....People believe that there are secrets like holy grails for trading, but there are not...Football analisis will lead my mentor to the same conclusion of me or viceversa...there are no secrets..I do actually share my thought in this forum many times..I had some outstanding results proved by my comments previous each games and I did not lose my edge....I did not go to some courses to lern that...I back and lay, take a win or take a loss...if you had a big bankroll you will certainly have an overall adge, if you had a long term plan.....

Hi Guys,

Im new to this forum and am looking for a highly successful one on one trading coach to get me going on trading tennis on betfair using betangel.

Im not looking for staking, just a one off fee to a coach with proven results.

Im a former player and currently coach - I know the game, surfaces and the players pretty well but I do not know what to do from a trading perspective and looking for a trading coach.

Anyone know how and where to find one?
