I know this because the guy that was fleecing me slipped up in chat once, he was naming my cards, even though they had never actually been revealed. It's easy for the other guy to beat you when he can see your cards.
Zenyatta mio amico you are 100% correct. I decided to pursue this and I did get a reply from the poker room. The first reply was merely a generic template but then a personal one followed later. They basically said they have a strict policy about cheating whether it be collusion or hacking the server to display an opponent's card. They also asked me not to disclose further violations this while they investigate. I will honour their request but I am not holding my breath while I wait for a positive reply!

I also sourced some software and I can say hand on heart that in certain games you CAN see an opponents hole cards. It doesn't work on every player at the table nor on every orbit but it does work. This is NOT on 888.com but the site in question is in receipt of my screen shots showing the hole cards of most or occasionally all players seated at the table! I have stopped using the software as it would hypocritical of me to cheat when I have been so anti about it!

I can understand that, but surely Betfair cannot "decide" which horse is going to win a race or which team a game?
Hi Corbus,
That's true, but BF are in a great position to manipulate the price, effectively using peoples trading styles against themselves? I've recently seen some prices jump from high-teens to 60 or 70 within about 15 seconds. Just as likely to be a private individual, but could also be BetFair. That distorts the market shape for a few minutes each time and could influence how people trade.

*Ok, more likely to be a broken bot or just very low liquidity on a market, than BetFair, but I saw an old episode of X-Files at the weekend and so I'm all hyped up on conspiracy theories ;)
