Yesterday and today have seen some big spikes in the market, I took about a 20 tic hit on Louis Ludwig at Sedge 16:15

I Lay at around 2 and it gets smashed into about 1.8 with a 25k back bet.

I myself have been responsible for a number of the latest big bets. I sometimes lump 3-4K on a selection as part of my normal trading plan, this happens towards the end of the afternoon as a rule. I will place my bet 10 ticks below the price and take wahts there. This can be enough to knock 6 or 7 ticks off the price straight away.

I am trying to change my tact a little with BA so we shall see what happens.

Made £500 last night backing before the off and laying during the race much easier with BA than without as it's all there in front of you.
