A bit more of this as shown on Sky News's home page (no direct link yet) wouldn't go amiss, hit them a bit harder I say:

Mhhm...How do they know he was a rioter? He was only riding his bike??

David Cameron promised tough sentences.

This judge didn't disappoint: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-no ... e-14491187

...didn't disappoint the guy he was sentencing, that is!

The judge said 'people should speak to the government if sentences seemed lenient'. Classic!

Yes, and we all know that the cuts in police funding will only affect back office staff who do nothing useful all day...

I mean, it's not like a modern police force needs IT guys or forensic scientists...

"Things got out of hand & we’d had a few drinks. We smashed the place up and Boris set fire to the toilets.”
- David Cameron, 1986.

"The looting and arson last night were criminality, pure and simple. Justice will be done and the people will see the consequences for their crimes.”
- David Cameron, 2011

Hmmm...

Not sure if others watched My Child the Rioter: A Wonderland Film that was on the BBC tonight?

I am just catching it on Sky+. Only 15 mins in and it makes you wonder are these people just taking the piss?

Such as the parents:

"How would you have felt had Ryan not taken part in the riots?"

"We would have thought whats up with him?"

Followed by:

"Whats going to be achieved politically by nicking a pair of trainers?"

"Well its a redistribution of wealth really innit"

Not sure if I can bear watching much more of these idiots!

And the answer is....? Yes, lets throw more money at the affected areas, thats never been tried before has it ?!
While we're at it, Spurs also need a new ground so as part of the 'urban regeneration project' in that area, taxpayers are actually paying towards a new ground ??
