No for my way of betting there's no value in this race at all. If I was purely punting Morty looks better than the fave. It's travelled near enough 300 miles for this race, trainers won't do that unless it's got a decent chance.
About to find out... my lay wasn't exactly the best decision of the dayMobiusGrey wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 3:19 pmNo for my way of betting there's no value in this race at all. Or was Bama Lama the fave? When I last looked it was Moonshiner, must have drifted
I got 6.94 out of a terrible position... it'll pay for my burger and chips laterMobiusGrey wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 3:22 pmjamesg46 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 3:20 pmAbout to find out... my lay wasn't exactly the best decision of the dayMobiusGrey wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 3:19 pm

Drifted pretty well near the off but I was in way too early, had to exit and then didn't make the most of the late drift... shame really, I was looking at a steak dinner from it hitting 3s. What a plebMobiusGrey wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 3:31 pmBetter than a loss!jamesg46 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 3:27 pmI got 6.94 out of a terrible position... it'll pay for my burger and chips laterMobiusGrey wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 3:22 pm

I take my hat off to anyone that can make money like that pre-race, burger or steak, I'd be happy if I could consistently get a 10p bag of Space Raiders out the markets pre-racejamesg46 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 3:34 pmDrifted pretty well near the off but I was in way too early, had to exit and then didn't make the most of the late drift... shame really, I was looking at a steak dinner from it hitting 3s. Did you back L'operateur? Come in quite nicelyjamesg46 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 2:38 pmLooks like they have on his 16:25 ride.MobiusGrey wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 2:32 pmBe interesting to see if pre-race his rides are now being backed in early?
No, I kept clear of it unfortunately. I'm gonna have to start keeping a closer eye on these in form jockeys because clearly there is a few quid in itMobiusGrey wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 4:02 pmDid you back L'operateur? I need to get myself some sort of spreadsheet knocked up that keeps tally of each jockeys wins over the previous day or perhaps over the past 7 days. Then I can automate a back bet if they start to recieve early support in the market.MobiusGrey wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 4:02 pmDid you back L'operateur? That's a nice idea actually. I've lost many an opportunity for a good value dutch later in the day because a jockey has had a couple of wins previouslyjamesg46 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 4:11 pmI need to get myself some sort of spreadsheet knocked up that keeps tally of each jockeys wins over the previous day or perhaps over the past 7 days. And a loss for me on that one. Did you back it earlier on?

No, wish I had, I just couldn't get enough runners under 48% book to take a position including L'operateur. Ffos Las was awful for value so concentrated mainly on Beverley and Sailsbury todayjamesg46 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 4:29 pm"A great 8 for David Probert"MobiusGrey wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 4:14 pmThat's a nice idea actually.
