Keep a close eye on it, the traders among us may not find the bookmakers on their side and negotiate for the limits intended to police 'regular bettors' to be raised but still trap traders who are of no interest to bookies!

On the Gambling Commission:

"They must be the most out-of-touch regulator there is in the country, and that’s a strong field" I think this is one and only thing gamblers and anti-gamblers agree on the GC are a waste of space.

The Racing Post seem to be stepping up their fight against the white paper lately which is good to see. BHA is still asleep hoping to wake up with a new deal on the betting levy

Yep over 6 million people will be subject to the 1st level checks from day one more or less which is scary. Maybe be reading to much into it but the agenda maybe data. Harnessing data from employment status, salary, financial records, post codes is gold dust for them.

If you want to operate outside the restrictions of the law then you do so without the protection of it. The Ombudsman won't help these losers when someone buggers off with their money

According to these official statistics, the lottery has more participants than any other form of gambling, but isn't included in the proposals as it isn't considered harmful. But the same commission didn't allow a £10 scratch over those same concerns. But people can still buy two £5 scratch cards instead?
