I've been massively disappointed in Argentina throughout this tournament - very negative considering the players on show

Almost inevitable it would be a 0-0 tonight

Yes, around the same order of magnitude probability of a divison.2 win on lotto off a standard ticket such as the win I got in '12. I experienced the same dream-like surreal sensations.

I had a bit of a premonition that a hiding might be dished out in that game, but of course I wasn't expecting Brazil to be on the receiving end :o

That back four and Mascherano are tight as hell though, ze Germans are going to find it difficult breaking that down I think.

Pretty sure he's out of the tournament but Di Maria being available would bring such a lift to that Argie side. They're struggling to link the midfield and attack together without him.

Turns out Ron Vlaar was this close to actually scoring his penalty!

Was out at a party last night so didn't see the match but just watched the highlights. Looks like Brazil were very poor again.

Awful

When you drop Fred and replace him with Jo - you know you have big problems!

I've only just noticed your post, PeterLe
My apologies, I wasn't ignoring you :)

It's been very good actually, not amazing, but I'm happy with how it's gone

What I have noticed though is the fill rate - the liquidity is still strong, but the fill rate is like having bloody teeth extracted at times.

This is where some bigger traders are sorely missed, they would push money through the markets that instigated movement, whereas now you can sit for ages just to squeeze a couple of ticks.....which isn't great news if this is your only source of income!!

Someone said to me last, "I think even England would have beaten Brazil"... I'm not so sure. I think we'd have made them look like world-beaters and lost by 2.

Hodgson was tactically inept and I can't believe people aren't calling for him to go (especially as he's the 2nd highest paid international manager on £3.5m a year).

England need to take a leaf out of Germany's book and get more home-grown players into the top flight, and also invest in youth football (not poxy academies linked to big clubs full of foreign youngsters, but decent all-weather pitches that are free with decent facilities). Gazza didn't go to any elite academy.

When you look at the England players compared to Germany's or Argentina's, ours look like spoilt children (carrying their man-bags and ipads eveywhere) whereas the Germans and Argentinians look, and play, like men (who know what they're doing).

Can't decide who to support tonight. Tough one.
