That's true, wife v1.0 was like that. But if support only follows sucess then it's not support, it's self interest. The 'most' you talk about just want to stand on the edge of the 6 yard box like a Lineker in lipstick. Marriage is a team, sweat together, win together.

Most fellas just settle for a wife rather than the wife. As you get older you realise no deal is better than a bad one.
The name of this made me smile given what we're talking about.

Yes, big time, especially as other people doubted me and wondered what the hell I was doing with my life.
The big turning point was the Wimbledon final 2008 - Federer vs Nadal. It was the match where Nadal led 2 sets 0, they then had a rain delay (the roof was still being built) and then Federer came back to 2-2, but Nadal won the final set 9-7. There was well over £50M matched, and I made about £800.
I remember thinking.....bloody hell, this beats working for a living, I'm making hundreds just watching the bloody tennis
" ..bloody hell, this beats working for a living, I'm making hundreds just watching the bloody tennis " thats a great turning point
yes thats what i say to myself now, its ridiculous i get paid to watch horse racing and drink lots of tea and surf the internet inbetween races looking at things that have nothing to do with racing

Hi Trader44,
Yes a few to be fair i have recently dropped my hours and i am seeing the benefits already i am making 2 times more roughly in a trading day than a working day! Bare in mind my age (20) and modest salary! It all adds up and my goal is to use this to finance other passions including travelling and greyhounds where im part of a syndicate, family have always owned greyhounds and a few ex-racers to! What is your story if you dont mind me asking!

. met betfair many years ago. signed up to laying tipsters 2 fantastic i thought " only to see the profits disappear very quickly , tried doing the in running trading quite a few times , had problems with keeping my discipline and never enough money behind me so always trading scared " one of the traders biggest enemies " went full time a few times made enough for a meager living but i could make as much in the job i done with less stress , but as what i have said usually ended up going back to work and doing trading part time.. then last september i just reassessed my bad habits started to work on reducing them by finding out when and why i would gamble/ lose disciplineand what caused it which i knew were stopping me becoming successful and have been full time since . just to say i have seen many traders with lots of ability/knowledge etc go completely skint because of their bad habits/lack of discipline.
some of the things that could set my bad habits off
1) a weeks winning days in a row ( complacency would creep in )
2) my trading bank growing and not following my plan of slow growth for my stakes ( the plan went out of the window ) and my stakes were doubled the next day
3) not being able to take a loss , therefore turning into a bigger loss ( £22 loss into £890) in one race
3) having had a loss wanting it all back next race and making a trade if there wasnt one 9 digging a bigger hole )
4) not knowing when to stop for the day ie being tired and not making progress so keep trading make mistake and BOOM losses followed
5)getting caught up in the daily pressure ( i have to make money today no matter what ) obviously its what we all want and especially when we first go full time .i know split my week into mon-thurs and fri-sunday as its suits me .
theres lost more i can share but thats a start lol
