Hi All

Euler posted
  • I saw a brilliant video recently which was wrong from start to finish, everything about it was completely and utterly wrong. It was eventually deleted but I kept a copy to show people what not to do and why.
This is the sort of thing that i think would be helpful for beginners and people learning. There are so many traps and i think that making it look easy is where the fall starts for most traders.

As per my mentioning the the well known trader that lays at the bottom of the range, all of the videos i have watched there is no warning of what can go wrong. Without making it a long explanation basically

-Check the top 4 in the market
-Which ever is at the bottom of its trading range
-Lay it.
-Reason: There has been no money below that point all day why would it change.

90% of the time it will go in the right direction....Having dabbled i have not found that to be accurate.
Of course if this is challenged the same old response just because you can't do it doesn't mean no one else can. That's not the point though is it, just look at all the traders that keep seeing more red than green.

My take on it is that things can change at anytime in the market.

So, whilst i think Peter does a great job and generous with what he shows on you tube etc. Perhaps i have missed them but videos of low probability trades bad positions and the unexpected are just as valuable of high probability trades that seem to succeed most of the time.

So many people think they can just be given or buy an edge, but you can't buy the most important edge, your state of mind.

Hi Shaun

Yes so true. Once you understand how the markets work, the mindset and discipline is where the answer lies.

My dad was a joiner and he often said "measure twice, cut once' - works well with numbers too :D
on the other side ofthe coin.."A good guess is a better than a bad measure" :D

He runs some of their Aussie courses doesn't he? I doubt they'd want to lose hs services. At the end of the day people need to do their own due diligence and the old saying "If it looks to good to be true...." usually holds true.

Amazing how he's managed to bs newbies for this long - would just love nothing more though than to see his only income stream (ebooks) vanish
