To climb to the top of the ladder you need to take the steps yourself. Others can encourage you, but you need to be the one putting one foot above the previous foot to get to the top.

All my years following bet angel forum I have now came to the conclusion that the pro traders are the big fish and the upcoming traders are the small fish which I agree is the order of rank but in my opinion the big fish prey on the small fish which in trading I get that but ...
this forum has very little tolerance of naivety and new fish which is very off putting to newbies and thus why newbies come and go very often
So in a nutshell my very obvious opinion of this forum is that it supports pro traders and everyone else can walk the plank
The last thing I want is to be thrown out but I do believe that we should support newbies that little bit more and be more tolerant towards them .
Constructive criticism nothing else dont pound me for being that one that says something that no one wants to hear
Bash away I'm ready![]()

Take this down please it has no merit
I don't think there is a problem with the forum, did I say that?, I was just stating what I was told & you're correct, ego is everywhere. My point was that I would love to see those ego's on a live stage. I'm not knocking ego, we all have one, we could put them to better use though imo.Trader Pat wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 1:02 am
Pick any forum across the internet on any subject from knitting to my little pony and it will be full of ego.
You've been here quite a while James and post a fair bit so you must be getting something from the forum or else why would you be here? I'd ask you the same question that I asked beermonsterman, if you think there's a problem with the forum then what would you suggest that may improve it?
Its interesting that you were the first person to mention ego and also in the next sentence the first person to mention live streaming your trades. Sounds pretty egotistical to me.
When I offered to live stream my trades it wasn't for ego purposes... I've thought for a long time that it would be beneficial if more of us come together, live stream together like a zoom call type of thing, that way we can bounce ideas, scheme or just flat out banter... trading is a lonely place and technology has advanced, why not put it to good use? Surely it won't hurt, it can only help... it may even get rid of the 10 quid a month subscription bullshiters.
Ego is not a dirty word - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Xpm9xwb5V ... e=youtu.be
Imo the community (not just the betangel community) but the whole community could benefit, It would help grow the markets too... Americans do it daily in the stock market, thousands of people go on a YouTube livestream and just trade together, banter together & help each other. One problem is latency but it's more of a real time in the moment "Today's racing" thread. Another issue is people seem to be scared of losing some mystical edge that they have.... holding onto it like "my precious" so any concept of moving forward with the times is instantly squashed.
Give over, its a decent thread...beermonsterman wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 2:34 amHey take this back I'm done I regret this post and will stand forever in your debt

Well you did +1 beermonstermans post about there being no tolerance towards newcomers and the forum only being for pro traders etc...
That was before he went full tinfoil hat
