I don't think I've ever felt that strongly about anyone on the forum. Sure the lost cause conspiracy theorist nutjobs are a bit out there but even then I wouldn't have strong feelings one way or another about them. As far as I'm concerned its all just a bit of banter unless I'm told otherwise and I overstep the mark but I'm sure I'd be told by those I'm having the back and forth with.

How do you get in on the private discussions where you get to decide who is liked and who isn’t ? All I get is shouted at and asked “ who the F*** I think I am ? “.

Also, is James and Jeffs decision now final ? Or is there an appeal process? Does Alex get the final say ? The forum will be a much better place once we get rid of any genuine traders. This place should be for fakes, frauds and Jeffs only.

It's interesting how near impossible it is to change peoples opinion on something no matter how much evidence you have to back it up. It's exactly the same as whenever I told people about matched betting or trading and explained the process until I was blue in the face, only to be told it was gambling (with a negative expectancy implied) time and time again. For most people, sentiment and emotion overrides logic and maths.

Given this virus has been around for over a year, I think there is more than enough data to make a judgement on it. We have not seen unmanagable levels of excess deaths anywhere IN THE WORLD, despite trillions... quadrillions... quintillions of social interactions taking place since the beginning. Have essential workers who have been interacting with thousands of people since the beginning been keeling over every minute? No. At the most there has been marginally more deaths which in the bigger picture is just a small variance. Looking at the charts, the nature of this virus is that it comes in short sharp spikes and then levels off, as opposed to the flu which has a more rounded long profile but kills around the same number of people at the end of the year (no point arguing Covid kills more due to inaccuracy of tests).

Yes a virus exists and I experienced the symptoms but isn't a slightly worse than average virus every few years to be expected? The average death age is 82.4 which is higher than the average life expectancy.

I'm still calling Covid-19 the flu with a bigger marketing budget, and the reaction to it the biggest availability cascade of all time. Almost everything has been based on emotion, false tests and propaganda. I don't know why shielding the vulnerable (who choose to) and letting the 99% healthy carry on was ruled out so quickly.

The other half of scientists, doctors and statisticians all over the world are being ignored, we are only listening to one side (the ones who gave us false models of predicted deaths funnily enough). We may never know who was right because the deaths attributed to lockdowns (cancelled treatments, undiagnosed cancers etc.) are probably going to increase.

Intelligent people in the financial sector have pointed out how obvious it is that this is an economic war, not a healthcare crisis and the more you think about the unsustainable debt in western culture, the more it makes sense.

Personally I benefit from lockdowns so I would be better off embracing it than trying to argue against it and change peoples opinions

If you're going to talk about someone, either do it to their face, or do it in private. It's quite childish to let somebody know that you or other people have been bitching about them in private.

Face to face? I don't know the guy but other than that it wouldn't be a problem... I havent messaged anyone, "people" (other than Jeff) messaged me about him. Its OK for him to trash people or try and belittle them but he gets sensitive when it's returned.

I have zero respect for him, or his fragile ego... I hope he carries his stompy feet moment out, then I won't have to hold onto this grudge I seem to have acquired at least mine was recent, sb dragging up Shaun wasn't....

Anyway, I wipe my hands of him, which is bad practice after wiping the floor with him.

The other day, I was actually considering sending you a further private message, this time to apologise. I thought that maybe I'd gotten you wrong. However, I'm glad I didn't, as your nasty comment below shows that my original judgement was spot on.

Yes, it's true that I told James in a private message that I thought that SB was a pr*** (though he had no right to repeat that). A few years ago, SB accused me of being against Sadiq Khan being London mayor because he is muslim - something I found extremely offensive, and which was totally unwarranted. Instead of holding his hands up and apologising, since then he has made snide remarks every time my name has been mentioned. So, yeah, I don't hold him in high regard. But as I acknowledged last night, maybe he's different in real life. Anything is possible.

It's a shame that this forum isn't properly moderated. Call someone a p**** in the forum. Hey, no problem. That's free speech. But if you dare to criticise Bet Angel, you can expect to see your post deleted double quick time, and, if you persist, your account (as I found - and contrary to what some people say about me having requested to leave, I made that request a while before the account was deleted, and the request was ignored - it's funny how the request was only actioned after I dismissively referred to some of BA's features as 'bells and whistles').

Messaging other forumites in private and calling others names behind their back is both childish and pathetic. And James has embarrassed both himself and you by admitting it. If you are going to start a little boys club behind the scenes where you throw insults at other members and discuss Toby youngs latest article, then I think it’s best that you all agree on some sort of code of privacy first.
