Gutted at missing the trading day, as much as it would have been hard I reckon (now at least) I would have got those cracking drifts. Bring on tomorrows evening racing, I hope for more of the same!

Someone lost a few quid at the end of this one trying to sell out their position. They were doing their best to hold the price up for a long time.

Tried to catch the a drift 3 times and scratched, eventually concluded that it wasn't going to drift after all and then it flew out from 2.8-4! Lesson learned, keep trying!

Took a small profit on a move from 2.96-3.05 on this. Note to self, have more patience!

It's quite common for prices to pull back maybe 6 ticks or around that level so don't get caught out by this when swing trading, try to make sure you get the full move or your expectancy will not add up.

I was looking too short term instead of seeing the bigger picture, that it was likely to fly out. In hindsight, it was a good entry position in the event that it did drift. I see what you mean, not a good scenario to take pennies from a £5+ scenario.

Can you see how similar this set up is in comparison to the ones I highlighted during the course? Almost exactly the same.

It's identical, I will not be missing another one of those! Funnily enough I've taken several such positions today and none of them have caused any headaches, this time I think I was worried about the bomber, the damage the other day dented my confidence in such trades a bit.

What I think I'll do about that is to trade as normal, and re-evaluate if the bomber shows up, because it's normally for the rest of the day. Is that a reasonable plan?

No access to BF live video for over a week now. They seem to have removed it for international customers.

I was happy about the above but no clue what caused it. ATR seem to have changed their video provider and it now doesn't work with my other laptop so I'm trading without pictures for the foreseeable future! Where do you find the radio?

You could try the stream on Betdaq, starts 5 minutes before start time on each race and has less delay than my TV pictures.

Forgot to add, you don't need to place a bet to watch it either, all I've done is open account deposit a small amount, not even placed a bet with them yet and watched the video for afew weeks
