The fav in the 4:30 Hcap at Newb got overthrown badly by the next two.

I caught it just right - Layed at 4, out at 6.

Though, it's quite funny where swings and profits can come from. I least expect to find swings in mid-priced Hcap's.

I sure cherish a good move (be it a big drift or reversal), but I found this one freakin annoying. Couldn't even get on it. By the time you place your order it's out by 5 ticks.

I could've placed market order, but not when something moves this fast cause it can backfire just as quick. So I stuck with trying to offer, rather than take.

The 2:25 Mdn Stks at Newm.

Switesh, I find these kind of moves annoying, too, not least because you end up tying yourself in logical knots if you try to think things through too much. Offering money to market means you hope the market will move against you, at least temporarily. Taking money puts you at an immediate 1-tick disadvantage. Things are much worse when you see a rapid movement such as the one in your chart. Offering could be even riskier in such cases, as you might only get matched as a result of a sudden reverse swing (Ah! I’ve finally got my lay order matched at 2.65. Oops, the price is now 2.25). Perhaps the only rational policy in such cases is a leap of faith?

Nice drift to start the day. 1.35 Newbury on the favourite. Didn't anyone stay with this until the off? The back side of the market seemed to be none existent apart from 1000 quid with nothing behind it apart from big open space.

Red Paladin what happened?
I didn't watch it but I was trading it before the off. Again hardly any money with big spaces behind it and then it suddenly moved against me and then got banged back in as the market pushed out for a few K. At the off it jumped out to 100s. I got a cheeky 2 quid in at 100s and it went out to 1000 for at least 20 seconds and then won. Anyone watch the race as to what happened?

I was all over that one. I was backing to laying all the way up. It felt like a little battle between me and the market at times.

Another amazing drift pre race and also into the start of the race. Im not sure if it won because the race suspended before the odds hit 1.01

Crazy stuff. I wish I hadn't traded it and just left a couple of quid on this fella at the off.

I was backing to laying going out and the market just kept going against me from around 30s. It went off around 70s and won! Hope some of you got a few quid out of it.
