I'm not sure if Israel are cheating or not but the televote process needs an overhaul, perhaps you can vote 5 times but only 3 times max for your fav etc.

The UK majority does not approve of Israel.

The sample size was tiny, and consisted of the usual suspect vocal minority of flag-waving anti-semite, Hamas supporters who go out of their way to engage with this sort of survey.

I get that Hamas's use of women and children as human shields has caused untold suffering and deaths, and of course that is deeply regrettable, but ask yourself: what choice do the IDF have when many hostages are STILL in captivity, potentially undergoing daily torture, rape , etc, etc?? What would you have our nation do if we were Israel after the atrocities of 7 October 2023?

I'm quite sure that the overwhelming majority of right-minded people defend the sovereign right of Israel and any other nation to rescue hostages kidnapped by terrorists! Hamas must be destroyed.

At least 3 broadcasters have called for an investigation into the Israel public vote due to "suspicious activity".

I'm sure that will be the last we hear of it.

Thought I would fact check that one & can't find any evidence of it other than some Israeli IDF statements.

3rd parties that have investigated have found no evidence of it however.

There are however lots of documented evidence of the IDF using Palestinians as human shields going back decades, including from the IDF themselves & indeed Israeli's using themselves as human shields to protect Palestinians from the IDF.

The IDF hunting down & shooting escaped Israeli hostages (that were undressed, unarmed & waving white shirts) sums up how out of control the situation is.

Horrific suffering on both sides all driven primarily from religious beliefs on both sides.

PS: Spare a thought for all the Palestinians who have also been killed by Hamas & other religious nutjobs.
