Not chart of the day, but maybe aggression of the day!

This was in practice mode so obviously, my position had no bearing on what was happening within the market.

just for the record, practice mode bets do have some interaction with the market makers money!

Let the hunters be hunted!

Here is a vid to point out what im saying. Pointing out Practice mode bets being turned off at will at either side of the book. Ive slowed it down frame by frame in the vid.

Delete it off if you want peter as its not BA but i am a BA user as well. Just trying to point out how the book is being controlled.

You do realise practise bets don't actually get sent to Betfair's servers don't you? So unless they're peeping thru your window your practice mode bets only affect your version of Betfair. How that shows up on the display is all down to how it's been coded by whoever the developed the software you're using.

No I never realized that. Silly me!
It happens on multiple software (BA inclued), so do you think someone has hacked my computers or account?

Do real bets get sent direct to bf servers?

You need to show me on Bet Angel then I can comment other than that I can only say it's the software you are using and / or cross matching.

If you do it on Bet Angel then I can have a look at the market and price and try and unpick things.

It does it a bit different on BA. I point out a couple of points, it seems to turn off the 2nd price in the market and then other times 2-3 prices. Its clearest inplay

Few comments on today's markets:
Volumes seem really low? (Should this be put down to Euler being busy training?)
Some big movers at Doncaster today...

Last chart for a few days as I jump on a plane for 15 hours in a few hours time...

A little break from racing to settle back in to the UK (damn its cold!). Now I've got some solid internet, it's time for a few more charts of the day!

Relatively, calm day in the markets, apart from one guy who kept dropping 11k into the market at odd times...

Quite funny really, I was watching one favorite in running don't remember the horse - suddenly 11k was laid around 3 and the horse proceeded to drift... the 11k hung around for nearly a minute during which little was match as the backers were clearly scared away.

What to make of this behaviour? I don't know!?

Anyway, a few snapshots of today's markets in case you missed them...

An emotional day at Newbury as the locally trained Many Clouds took the big race of the day. The local Sherwood stable recaptured the Hennessy Gold Cup after a drought of 24 years... the parties at Mr. Sherwood's tonight...

Todays market's from Newbury:

In other news... apparently Betfair were giving away hotels today...

Time for Trumpton!

Well not quite, just Ke(mpton), Wolverha(mpton) and Plu(mpton).

Interestingly consistent markets today from Wolverhampton. Almost every race except the 15:30 followed a similar pattern. If only I'd been trading!

Wolverhampton charts for today:
