Does anyone trade in the last two minutes before a race? I seem to be building a nice profit before the off but losing it in the volatility in the last two minutes? Is it better to avoid the last 2 minutes?

Generally you should be looking for a gentle exit during this period. But the actual off time on average is about 90 secs past post so you do often have a little more time than you expect, if you have pictures.

Is that based on data before they changed the starting procedure on the jumps Peter? They seem much better at getting race underway these days than they used to be.
