Hi,

Have downloaded the trial version of Bet Angel Professional, and used 'Practice Mode' for a good dozen thoroughbred races or more. Predominately focusing on the Automation rules.

I'm looking at using the Automation rules for 'pre off' Greyhound Racing in Australia.

Currently laying all runners < "X" odds in particular races. Was hoping to create an automation file for this. So for days where i was out, my Betfair program could do this all for me.

After experimenting with the Automation rules, and couldn't quite achieve what i wanted.

If i layed 'all runners', then it wanted me to input a fixed lay price. Therefore, laying two runners the liabilities would be different.

Eg. Say i entered $4.0 to be the fixed amount, for a liability of $100. If there were two runners, then it would lay them for a liability of $100 @ $4.0 regardless of the price.
Runner 1 price is $2.0, should be layed for $100 stake if liability is $100. But instead it would lay for $33.33 stake due to the $4.0 fixed price input.

Hope i didn't loose anyone there, and i made sense.

When i changed the Automation rule from laying 'all runners' to lay an 'individual runner' the stake amount layed was perfect to the $100 liability amount. Perfect!! Only problem is, if there are multiple runners under $4.0 i can only lay one runner due to only being able to allocate one rule set per event.

I guess, long story short.....can i allocate multiple sets of rules to one event?

Or is there a better way around this all, where i can lay all runners under < "X" odds before the off?

Any help and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

You can nest rules in one container within the automation or just run multiple versions of Bet Angel, that's the easiest way to do it.

I picked up on this thread in which its was suggested that an answer could be to run multiple versions of BetAngel.

Just tried to run x2 BetAngel Pro Version on x2 Laptops with different Automation Rules ( using same Betfair Account ) but one took precedence over the other.

I also tried to open BA twice on the same laptop just for elimination purposes.

Does this require a BA Server version or a second BF Account ?
If not could you advise where I am "&8cking" it up

Cheers

If you are running two rules on one market on the same Betfair account then obviously they are going to trigger bets into the same market at the same time on the same account.

If you want to run two different strategies on the same market then you will need two Betfair accounts.
