Require a signal duration?

I have a spreadsheet attached to BA. At the designated time whatever cell displays "LAY", a bet will fire. However, every now and then a signal is generated for an instant by a price touching a pre determined level but quickly retreating, the touch just happened to coincide with the trigger time.

It's really a false signal, with the outcome being a bit of a lottery. Can anyone suggest a excel formula to say, " only trigger bet if "LAY" is visible for say 10 secs prior to trigger time?

One last one. Every now and then when Guardian clicks over to a new race, two or three runners in the previous race join the list of starters in the next and subsequent races, until manually cleared! What's going on there?
