Hi,
Before I post here I've looked everywhere in the manual but can't seem to find an explanation for this.
I have the settings in my X Axis set to Interval: 1 second, Width: 120 data points. I assumed this would mean that when I open a new market from Guardian the advanced chart would only show the previous 2 minutes worth of charting data but as you can see from the attached screenshot it's showing around 50 minutes worth. This corrects itself after 2 minutes and the entire data range then only shows 120 seconds as I'd originally wanted.
I assume I'm missing something here so can anybody show me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks
Advanced Charting X Axis

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Guardian cycles round each market in its list at the 'Refresh interval' defined at the top of its screen.
So if you've got 20 markets loaded and the refresh interval set to 1 second, then each market will get an update every 20 seconds. The charting can't show data points that it didn't capture, so 120 data points will stretch back further than 120 seconds.
There are various ways to optimise the cycling, by using 'Restrict refresh' and 'Bet Angel Market Switching'. It really depends what you're aiming for.
For horse racing, a lot of people use Restricted Refresh to get a fast update in Guardian of the races due to start soon and then switch to the market with the main Bet Angel screen to get the fastest refresh for the one that will start next.
Also, if you haven't already done so, you can set Guardian's refresh speed to 200ms, which is the fastest betfair will allow any application to extract prices from their API.

Ah ok, So if I lower the restrict refresh rate that should get me nearer to what I'm looking for?
Ideally what I'm looking for is when I open a new market that the advanced charting only shows data from the previous 5 minutes max. Not really interested in data before that.
