Not sure how/why but used guardian automation on Sunday and BF charged me £11 . Is there a recommended setting which can avoid such charges ?
You just beat me to it Peter..
I was going to say drop an email to the betfair helpdesk and ask then what the charges were for.
(Could be tx charges? : They still have the 1000 bets an hour (Although i often go over this with no charges).
Full T&C's are here:-

Probably just left an order in the market with keep at inplay or something similar. I've lost a plenty over the years due to silly mistakes such as this.

BF helpdesk advise all charges are due to number of bets submitted in an hour. Need advise as to likely cause and more importantly how to prevent a recurrence. Never happened before after a year auto trading with Guardian and I am only a small player so charges seem very disproportionate.
If you back 50p on a horse, BA needs to place £2 at 1000. Then add another 50p, cancel the original order and change the 50p onto the price you wantwinevaults wrote:Let is how does this work?
This counts as 2 transactions. If you do this 5 times across the board on a 12 runner race = 120 bets.
You are obviously exceeding 1000 transactions in 1 hour, and your stake levels might be contributing to this

Thanks not sure how to avoid charges in future might have to look at swing trades rather than scalping
Got half my charges back and also free bets, all you have to do is mention the word Betdaq in your complaintmarko236 wrote:Just got my first charges from betfair ( the greedy bastards )just sent them an email stating that betdaq dont charge money for betting over 1000 bets per hour and that i want a refund, whats the chances of me getting one?
