Thought i would start a thread similar to the "todays racing" but specifically for users to highlight and discuss Daily Pattens, Trends and Recurrences they have noticed during either during or after the days racing.
Personally i concentrate on short priced Fav's but know there will be many out there who fix there attensions mainly on higher priced runners or certain market types so hope this thread can pull in some views from a broad range of traders.

So to get started Wed 15th Sandown evening meeting it was obvious after the first few races all the Favs where being heavily and aggresivly layed by someone especially the shorties and by the final 2 races without even looking at what was happening in the rest of the market my there was only one way i was going to trade these races and hope many others got on them as well.

Small fields this afternoon and poor quality. Not a great combination.

Heavily laid or no one backing? Is there any difference? We believe there is, as we see with our eyes money being matched on our screens. ;)

My reading of that was someone probably backed about 200 quid around 3.5 and sat and waited, then waited, then waited....

Overall felt a poor if not somewhat of a strange day, did not seem as though there was any decent support for any of the fav's when money did arrive it was in short spells before price was just pushed back out

From the first few races looks like the layers are pushing prices right out again in closing minutes after small amount of early support on the shorties

The set up for today looks pretty poor.

Newbury and the Curragh are the features and if we get a decent run in to those they should trade well but as for others I'm not expecting much. Especially if they clash with each other.

Not enough time between races at all. Have to be selective
Late layer around again today

Seem to be a lot of large orders hit the market in final moments and even in the last few mins markets felt much more choppy than most saturdays - possibly because of all the over lapping races

Seen a definate pattern on the Fav's today especially the shorties, any support for them seems to dry up between 7-4 min before the off point then a smooth upward drift till the off time :D

Looking like a repeat of yesterday just without the initial support plunge before the big drift, 2 of 2 so far :D
