It seems the perfect time to start this thread, as there's a little arb on offer
A market I have great interest in (I know Peter Webb does too) is Relegation. The market of Relegation treble sees the 3 promoted clubs Bournemouth, Watford, Norwich priced at 16/1 with Ladbrokes and 14/1 with most others. There's money being asked for at 11/1 on BF exchange
I reckon at least 2 of those teams will go, so I'm tempted at taking Ladbrokes offer and laying off on the Relegation market as the season progresses
Premier League 2015/16
Cech had a bit of a mare yesterday, was at fault for both goals, he might struggle this season. Impressed by my compatriot Bilic who sacrificed their Europa league game to prepare for Arsenal, that was quite an upset and the market reacted accordingly.
I can certainly see the appeal of these longterm markets, it must be nice having a hefty bonus at the end of the season, just in time for holidays
I never had the time to even look at those markets before but I will try and add this to my portfolio this season.

Y, I love the relegation markets. I think the winner markets are tougher but I'll trade the long term markets all season and it's great to get a bonus in May each year.Kai wrote:I can certainly see the appeal of these longterm markets, it must be nice having a hefty bonus at the end of the season, just in time for holidays![]()
These markets do overreact
Man City are now clear favourites for the title after just week 1
WBA on the other hand has seen steady money tonight on them being relegated.......for losing at home to the favourites for the title!
I always believe that's a trader's paradise when people get a bit too excited

They were completely hopeless though, so I'm not surprised they are that high. Last year Man City looked weak at the back but Mangala has certainly added some stability there and Kompany looks back to his best so they are deserved favs at this stage IMO. And I think you said it, Man City are easily "the toughest team" at the minute.
