Good evening one and all
I've got a very simple rule (see Simple Rule.baf) I've set up and I can't get it working how I want - this makes me think I have misunderstood something.
Essentially, I want to do the following:
Fix the market order
Place a back bet of £10 on the favourite a few seconds in
Then, if the favourite has come in by a certain amount (e.g. £2.50's worth), my lay bet of £12.50 is placed
So for example, the favourite gets backed at 3, once the price has come in to 2.4 (equivalent to £2.50), the lay bet is placed. Please note, prices are just examples, they could be anything.
I think I must be going mad as I couldn't get the bugger to work earlier.
Any advice gratefully received.
Really simple automation I can't get to work!

Evening Dallas
Yes it would be £2.5 across all selections.
However, I may want to expand this to second favourite so not sure I'd want to just green up all selections.
Ultimately, I'd like the following scenario:
A £10 back bet is placed on a selection that is triggered when certain conditions are met (don't worry, got that sorted
)
A lay bet of £12.50 is placed when this selection has has come in £2.50's worth to guarantee not losing any money.
I know I can do a Green All Selections with a profit condition, but I'm not sure that's what I am after given I would like to add additional selections to this.

I think I'll have a play with the Close trade on selection rule type tomorrow, see if that doesn't the trick.
You could still green all then if you add additional selections just include a condition that the green profit must be above £2.50 before it triggers - this will then prevent this additional part firing until the first has closed with a profitricardodeano wrote:I know I can do a Green All Selections with a profit condition, but I'm not sure that's what I am after given I would like to add additional selections to this.
But other than my previous suggestion this would be the simplest option for you rather than you laying for £12.50ricardodeano wrote:I think I'll have a play with the Close trade on selection rule type tomorrow, see if that doesn't the trick.

I think that's the missing link I was looking for. For some reason I didn't even consider doing multiple greens.
