I thought I would put a topic up about races I dont trade and struggle with. Maybe others may want describe the same and put up theres so we can all learn something (well newbies especially)

My cup of tea race...meaning I leave the computer and stick the Kettle on.

A crappy handicap race that is a medium to big field. 10 runners +
with the odds 5 and bigger. No money seems to go through even scalping is a joke.

I just cannot make that race work. So i leave it at all costs.
But i do want to make it work, considering there are so many of them in the winter.

Interested in hearing others and what they struggle with. Or even your favourites

This sounds like the perfect 'Back the field' or 'Lay the field' kind of race to me. A high priced Handicap favourite indicates,to me at least,a pretty open race and one were a close finish or high odds winner will occur.

I haven't thought of it that way. A very valid point there. Interesting.

I have heard this a few times, but surely if the bsp's are higher it will take more money to get two horses trading below 2 compared to a race with a strong favourite?
