Have I read the ladder on King Fontaine correctly in that someone had 400 GBP on at 1000-1?

Yes and No - there was money matched at 999-1 (didn't see how much) but it was not one person. People freeing up money etc etc is the most likely reason.

Thanks Andy, guessed it might not have been a single bet but am I'm being stupid or is the bottom line that someone has laid a winner at 999-1?

Regards
Doug

The horse was pulled up early on. Buying money effectively. The backers were likely to just be freeing up money so they could trade/bet others
