Having a read of the Racing Post this morning and looking at the TV schedule there is 24hours of live mainstream sport starting at around 1pm today.

There should be plenty of opportunities today:

Horse Racing - Leopardstown (excellent quality card), M.Rasen, Towc and Kemp

Rugby - Heineken Cup

Footie - SPL, FA Cup, LA Liga, Serie A and Bundeliga

NFL - Championship Playoffs

Tennis - Aussie Open

Cricket - Bangladesh V India

To save a domestic  (for me anyway) will have to pick and choose events but looks a great sporting day.

Lol, I love this. The only thing preventing a 24hour-er is long suffering missus, it does get obsessive doesn't it? I'm curious to know what the longest trading stint anybody has had. Can we match the days long poker games or Fast Eddie's 40 hour pool game against Minnesota Fats (shame that one was fictional)?

Think a 24hour for me would mean a red card, but would probably get a few verbose yellows first

Apart from the racing (and one of the Footie matches) I have my eye on the first NFL game tonight. Also the longer you trade the more likely mistakes can be made - this is my experience anyway.

Would be good to know how people have fared on long trading stints :?:

I tend to trade evening card especially when stnadard 1 pm - 5 pm trading didn't go well and more often than not my results improve. So for me trading another market after 8 hours of trading isn't too much. But 8 hours it's not 24.
