What's trading football like when the season is over?

Football, Soccer - whatever you call it. It is the beautiful game.

Does anyone have any experience in trading football once the season for the mainstream European leagues has finished?

Obviously this year we will have Euro 2016 which will have some decent liquidity, but apart from that are there any games that see a decent amount? Do the friendlies involving the more mainstream teams see some liquidity or is it fairly dead until the season restarts?

Thanks in advance for any response :)

Pretty quiet, if you look at Tennis and football you find they 'swap' during this period. Tennis liquidity rises stronger but Footy dies.

Euro 2016 should be excellent though. All major tournaments are a feast.

Thanks for the response, that makes perfect sense thinking about it. I have yet to dabble in the world of tennis, I suppose then would be a good time to do so.
