I am findng my way with automated betting however i will have to avoid scalping from now on due to excessive betfair fees I have been playing around with the dallas find the gap bot it made no sense if try to scalp trap 1 and 2 so i converted the bot to select all 6 runners to from 10 minute from the start for a max 100 times per dog so that would be a maximum of 1200 bets per race but probably much fewer especially if matched early on. My understanding of the 1000 bets an hour rule is from say 9pm to 10pm i choose 2 races 20:58 and 21:32 thinking that they would be ok unfortunately not i got this charge which is way more than my 2 scalp profits is there any way that tells you how bets you have place/attempted an hour ???

the number of bets you have placed in any given session once bet angel is open is shown in the bottom right of your screen 'Tx (number of bets)'

in fact the number is for bets in current hour i think and not the whole session so you can keep an eye on it if its reaching 1000
Thank you for that info will certainly will keep an eye on that in future think i will need to change a few paramenters for the bot !! although i have just run it again and it only placed 265 bets so if i dont know how i have been charged £4 to running the same bot in 2 races in 2 seperate hours i have to put it down to learning curve put its a stupid charge surely the more bets we place the more will be matched and potentially the more commission betfair make
