Be careful this morning the API has been all over the shop overnight and is still playing up early this morning.

When you log on, on the log on screen change the connection mode from whatever you are on, to connection mode 1. We have made suggestions that you run two version of Bet Angel today one in API and one in non API just in case. But make 150% sure you don't have both refreshing at once or else you could get data usage charges. Be sure to switch off the auto refresh on one to stop polling Betfair.

Took your advice and opened 2 versions of Bet Angel, still getting spikes in response times on mode 1. The sun maybe shining in Cheltenham but it's very grey over Betfair at the moment!

This is dreadful stuff. Can someone from Bet Angel make an official compliant? Absolutely shocking service. If it isnt working properly then suspend in running.

We have often raised issues with Betfair but I don't think that does much anymore TBH. I think Betfair will only change their outlook to customers if they feel their business is under threat. I don't believe they feel threatened at all at the moment.

Betfair experianced another outage this morning.

"We apologise for the extensive outage, a power failure at one of 3rd party datacentres is to blame. Power has now been restored and the vast majority of betfair services have been recovered."

It would be better customer service if they gave a similar detailed explanation for prior outages. That's four problems in seven days.
