The markets feel quite dead right now, fill rate seems quite slow.

Has anybody any data on fill rates throughout the year?

I'm guessing fill rate is poor now due to Euro 2016 and Wimbledon?

Fill rate is crucial for traders, and there has definitely been a decline over the past few years. I have absolutely zero data to back that up, it's just a feeling I have when trying to push my orders through

I may have accidentally captured enough data this year to have a closer look at these dead patches. I won't get the chance to analysis it for a while. But a bot I was running just hasn't triggered for two entire days. I thought it was broken, but I'm pretty sure now it's because of the dead zone. It will be interesting to review and spot the differences.

Will be interesting to see what you find.

Thought I was 'imagining' the slower fill rate but good to know I'm not!

I'd like to see a video update on this "Dead Zone" subject.
