I'm not sure whether he would be at Hammersmith or Dublin, the latter I suspect.

I would like to offer you some advice. From what I have just read you are clearly frustrated and want to get your matter resolved and money asap. I dont know details of your claim. However, I will offer you some advice. I have sued many bookies on numerous occasions. I have written 50 page complaints. I have driven to london to hand delivered letters to cheif executives over disputes of money owed...

My advice to you is. Go to https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/web/mcol/welcome and start your own claim for money. Im pretty sure from experience they will not respond to you.

This will be the quickest way you can get your money.
This is the only way they will listen. When awarded money you still have to hound them every day for your money. Using bailiffs is difficult to you have to hound the bailiffs every week to pull their finger out too. Message me if you need any advice.

Good luck.

Invoice them and give them 7 days to pay

When they dont respond issue a winding up order.

I did this against british airways when they lost my luggage. Got a cheque for the invoiced amount in 3 days.

ring citizens advice about statutory demands and winding up orders.
Forget they are bookies; they are a ltd company with whom you have a contract.

At the very least you will get to arbitrate or settle.

If you are in the right of course....

Reminds me of the smarkets case when the market makers got angry with people taking advantage of odds across various exchanges.

this is interesting as i've only just started running a bot that i built to compare mismatches between prices on betdaq and betfair. from today alone, here are the typical mismatches occurring on a race by race basis. I just hope it doesn't get blocked by either party.

It makes for a great opportunity tho and one i'm actively pursuing as we speak (i.e. bet placement process in test at the moment)!!

I'm guessing the pnl's are estimated rather than real figures. I'd be surprised if you're able to take advantage of many in running discrepancies between the exchanges.

you guess correctly, most opportunities are very transient (between 1 and 2 seconds), so it's a fill or kill approach, in async mode, with disaster recovery should either side not be met. That said, the fill rate (on £5 stakes in VERY limited mode) has been > 40%, but still a long way off leaving things to run unattended!! Also, one must question the wisdom in going for anything with less than a £0.75 profit after commission, so is a real challenge, but not one I'm shy of ;)

If you have any input to offer of a sensitive nature, feel free to pm.
