How about a Betfair Response Time Meter?
If BF is sluggish then instead of How about this? Or maybe with a All this is just a tweak to Betangel's system, using different data feeds (the numbers are on the bottom).
I could start a rant about "This race will start in 30 seconds"
But................

All the above has been done by Peter and the team just different data feeds required and you can put in your own swear words (I deleted lots of them - there is only one and that is in quotes)
