Can any of the more established forum members share some wisdom on what they think is the most effective way of analysing results? Over the course of the last few days I have been getting used to the software and putting in some screen time with min stakes, mostly scalping but some attempted swing trades thrown in for giggles.

I feel that I would benefit from reviewing my trades in context of the price action at that time. I have read that many have had good results with screen recording and reviewing decision making that way. Would the majority go along with that?

Thanks in advance

Recording your days trading is certainly a very good way of analyzing your decisions and you will quiet often spot things you never seen in the moment when watching back afterwards, another good way is a data capture sheet

I've found Openbroadcaster to be a good screen recorder (and it's actively maintained opensource)

So to clarify if you backed a horse for £100 at 4.0 and layed it for £100 at 3.0 would your turnover be £100(back) + £200(lay) = £300 total turnover ???

Important to log daily trading. I am at the point of spotting patterns that help my strike rate on lay betting and dutching.
