Offset back bets - market active

Hi,

Noob question, if I place a back bet with 2 tick offset in batches of say 10. Does the market have to be open for the lay bets to be placed once the back bets are matched?

So if I opened another market would the lay offset bets still be placed?

Once the opening bets are placed (even if unmatched) you can move to another market and the offsets will still be placed as normal once the opening bet is matched
