Global Settings; stop loss function

Hi Folks,

I'm after some guidance with the stop loss function in Global settings please.

I traded Real Madrid Vs Sporting last night, in Practice Mode.

I laid O4.5 goals @ 3.25 for $50.
I used Global Settings - Offset bet with greening and Stop. The stop was set to fire at 1.73 (Stop trigger = 80 ticks) with place at (ticks) = 82

However, the stop fired almost immediately on kick-off. That is, $29.55 @ 1.73.

The firing of the trigger and the value ($29.55) was strangely random.

The market didn't trade below 2.86.

Any thoughts please?

Amounts below £2 don't show on Betfair but are picked up by the API and Bet Angel, so it could have triggered on that.

But also, if there is no money in the market, as you would expect to see just after kick odd, then the odds are zero. So you are best to avoid trying to carry a stop through a period like that.

I'm taking various positions (different green-up/stop loss odds) in various markets pre-off using Global Settings, with the Keep thingy ticked.

Is there another way of maintaining these positions through kick off?
