Betfair Football Handicap no liquidity ?

Anyone know why the Betfair handicap markets on most games have poor liquidity ?
First time I've looked at these. Tonights Newcastle Norwich game. Just a couple of thousand matched across the 6 markets available. Even tonights Champions League games don't have much more. I would have thought this would have been quite a big attraction. It certainly is in the US for American Football isn't it ?
