I was convinced that there would be at least 2 goals in the second half.

With a rush of blood to the head, I placed what is to date my largest ever sports wager yesterday... See image below.

You can imagine my thoughts when the normally reliable Willian had afree shot on goal from 5 yards and missed wide left!

Then in the closing stages, when that idiot Costa was through on goal and chipped the keeper but missed the goal!

All was forgiven when in the 4th minute of stoppage time, Sir Gareth Cahill of Derbyshire placed his wonderful right peg through the ball to bring home the bacon.

Well, I'm hoping Cayhill and gang can defeat Soton boys (sorry Mr. Webb, I believe they are your home team) and bring home the bacon once again this afternoon...

Incidentally, I noted that yesterday I had the same 2.45 odds at the Sportsbook (it was 2.46 at BF at the time, but of course there's no commission, saving me around £31.

Does anyone else find the odds are often similar in the Sportsbook lately,because it's not the first time I've wagered a decent amount there rather than the exchange to avoid the commission and make a nett gain overall.

Here's hoping for a 1-3 at St. Mary's Stadium !!

OK, bottle went after the second goal...

I did promise myself I'd cash in at a grand so, happy days. been a good couple of days sports wise...
