BA practice layout

I've seen many videos on youtube of traders/IR players/lay fav at 1.5 making great wins per race on BetAngel.
Except the top part of the interface is orange. I know that's practice mode, you know that's practice mode, pretty much everyone that posts on this forum knows it's practice mode.

Random people looking to make money easily based on a youtube video some snakeoil salesmen sent/sold them? I very much doubt it.

Perhaps change the orange colour to blood red, and superimpose a THIS IS PRETEND MONEY diagonally across the screen for future versions of BA practice mode.

Regular users of practice mode (myself included, I'm close to maxing out my RAM I have that many copies of practice and real BA open while I'm at work!) wouldn't find this too hard to deal with IMO. A visual obscurity but one that frequent users won't notice eventually. Similar to the house alarm going off nearby, you can hear it but eventually your brain blocks it out and you don't notice it.

It might make Dallas's life an awful lot easier too if it reduces the amount of 1 post wonders looking to automate a hundred quid a day!

I don't think it would make any difference to the type of people you are talking about. Some people (and there are lots of them) want a quick and easy way to make money. If someone is selling them a dream they are more than happy to buy it, and when it doesn't work they will look for the next dream sellers product.

Years ago I took several financial trading courses. Listening to the questions some of the students asked it was obvious they had made virtually no effort to learn anything about trading. I am not talking about complicated stuff, I am talking about simple things that could be covered on a couple of sides of A4.

I am sure PW and Co get people on their courses who have watched a couple of videos and that's the sum total of their preparation for the course. They will do the course come home use too big stakes bust out, and then look for something else to spend their money on. Its just like the mug punter that moves from one horse racing tipster to the next. Always looking for an easy way to profits. Some eventually realise there is no easy way, it takes really hard work. Most however will never get to that stage, PW is right when he says there are winners and losers in life and the difference between the two is a state of mind.

Agree completely Bluesky, yet on the off chance it was implemented and was noticed by a very few in snakeoil salesmen videos, wouldn't it be enough to raise a red flag and alert people it was dodgy?
Also if it was implemented at the next BA update or whenever, BA ownership would have a set timeline to order Youtube to remove all videos with the practice mode background/superimposed text from a set date.
BA user license covers personal use. Recording/commercial use/publication and/or onselling of data without explicit written consent is a breach of all copyright and trademarks of BA. Youtube should remove every post flagged to them under same, unless they pay the commercial rights to each and every video using BA's copyrights and intellectual property.
