Betting to win a certain amount?

Is it possible for BA to adjust your bet size based on how much you want to win (the same as when laying to win a certain amount)?

You can do it in Guardian. Choose "By liability" rather than "Fixed amount" when choosing what kind of stake to use.

When I load guardian I cant see any option 'by liabilty', or are you referring to the main BA screen where you can select tick size or liabilty.

If you watch the video called "Betfair trading - Automation - Creating a basic rule on Bet Angel" it will show you the Parameters tab just before the 5 minute mark. That's where you select "By liability" as your stake type.

So if you pick "By liability" as the stake type and £10 as your stake and the back odds happen to be 5.0 at the time your bet fires, then Bet Angel will actually place a bet for £2.50 because that stake is the exact amount which will allow you to win £10 if your horse wins.
