Have moved onto backing certain horses, with odds between 2.5 and 5, prior to race then laying when odds fall 10% below BSP...have had very promising results so far using bot sent originally meant for a different approach...Dublin Flyer answered the call.THANKS!!!
How easy is it to adjust your original automation file for use by two or more horses?
Automation rule for more than one runner (Dublin Flyer....)
Henry,
If you use signals to track your runners, you could do this easily. Dallas (and even myself
) have posted the odd rule that uses signals and then based on conditions such as you mention, places trades on either side of the book.
At present, I imagine your rule looks at a given position or row number. All you need to do is to use some signals and then party on those later in the piece. Remember tho sometimes a runner can really wind down to low odds and then spiral out to BSP, only to come back in and win the race, so be very careful when laying runners in this fashion. In my experience, either lay low or lay in a scalping type manner when the book% is telling you that there's a turmoil going on. Multiple lays actually NARROW your chance of success!!

Yes, there are signals, basically (at the moment....) I am looking to place a back bet on any horse in certain races that have odds between 2.5 and 5.00. So far, when using practice mode, have succeeded 112/119 races, only small profits, but for than enough to make up for the occasional loss, but have only been able to trade one horse per race, when in some races, 2,3, or even more fit the bill....need to know how to place a bet and hopefully green up on more than one horse per race.
