any advice to display volume?

I would take the ability to attract money of an horse..i trying whit advanced charts,set MA 15 intervals now..but I struggle to understand when an increase of the moving average is a strong interest in a horse or is simple increase (decrease) of small interest entities' .... according to your experience which is the best way to set advanced charts to figure out when a horse for a while attracts much interest?

MA 15? MA 20? not whit MA?another way?
I would understand, for example, on a horse @ 3 what is a level where I can say "ok, now this horse is attracting a lot of interest"...do you prefer use volume percentage,volume??
