I'm fairly new to trading and have had a couple of mishaps (luckily not too expensive) but when i do trade on the ladder interface I notice that there is sometimes money traded on 1.01 and 1000. Is there a reason for this practice.
Any advice appreciated.

The people backing feel like they are backing a dead certainty and can't lose. The people laying know that horses at 1.01 will go on to lose more than the odds indicate and a lay here can be good value provided you are at or near the front of the queue.

There's always people on both sides of the fence who believe they are getting value at these odds extremes. And while that's the case, matches will be made.Yasmingrace wrote:I'm fairly new to trading and have had a couple of mishaps (luckily not too expensive) but when i do trade on the ladder interface I notice that there is sometimes money traded on 1.01 and 1000.
