I have set my historical odds for the favourite position 1 to be greater then 3.5 1 seconds ago. My ladders is set to reverse, however it only fires on favs under 3.5 and not on markets above 3.5?

Would this be becasue my ladder is set on reverse or have I made an error?

The ladder being set to reverse should have no impact upon Guardian automation.

The rule in your post will be true if the #1 fav's last traded price 1 second ago was 'above' 3.5.

If you want a rule to trigger when the #1 fav's LTP is currently greater than or equal to 3.5, and 1 second ago it was less than 3.5, then change your historical odds option to less than 3.5.
Adding a 'Fixed Odds condition' with parameters set to #1 fav LTP greater than 3.45 will hopefully make it do what you want.

The above basically means that if the #1 fav LTP 1 second ago was 3.4 and it is now 3.6 then the rule would be true and it will trigger whatever event you want it to.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for your post.

I am still confused. The above screen shot doesnt fire if the favourite is above 3.5. but it does on races below but surely is shouldnt be backwards

I see what you mean. I incorrectly assumed that you were comparing the odds and wanted the fav price to have drifted out from a second ago. Apologies.

If you just need the odds of the #1 fav to be greater than 3.5 then I'd suggest using 'Fixed Odds' instead of 'Historic Fixed Odds'. That way the rule will trigger if the odds of the #1 fav are simply greater than 3.5.

On occasion, I have used conditions relating to the #1 fav, only to find that the horse actually became 2nd favourite because it drifted out and a new horse became first favourite because its price shortened. I generally use the 'Fix the Order of the Market Selections' rule to take care of this problem. I'm not saying this is what is happening but I've been tripped up by that a few times, especially in running when the odds fly all over the place.

If you are OK with uploading the 'baf' file I wouldn't mind having a look to see if I can help.

I have sorted it thank you very much for your help. Really appreciated.

Heres a question. If I have set a trigger to end at 0.40 seconds before the start of play and I have a trailing stop position in the market. Will it still close my position after 0.40.
Reason for doing so is I hve green all selections at 0.10 seonds before the off and theres no point in the bot triggering 1 seconds before it greens out. So ineed a good 30 seconds between the two but my position still needs protecting.

Thank you for taking your time to help me.
